Two Ridings Community Foundation Achieves UKCF Quality Accreditation
We are delighted to share that Two Ridings Community Foundation has successfully met the standards for the sixth round of the UK Community Foundations (UKCF) Quality Accreditation.
The Quality Accreditation is a mark of excellence for community foundations across the UK. It assesses foundations against a rigorous framework that covers governance, finance, philanthropy, grant-making, and community engagement. By achieving this accreditation, Two Ridings have continued to demonstrate their commitment to best practice and the highest standards of delivery.
In a letter confirming the achievement, Emma de Closset, Chief Executive of UKCF, wrote:
“Quality Accreditation defines the core standards that guide the unique work of community foundations, ensuring consistency and credibility across the network. The robust framework provides assurance to external stakeholders, potential partners, and strategic investors that Two Ridings operates to the highest standard.”
Celia McKeon, Chief Executive of Two Ridings stated:
“We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated team for their continual commitment to excellence and to our community of partners, donors, and grantees who make our work meaningful and possible.
This accreditation affirms our ongoing mission to connect people who care with causes that matter to create thriving, connected communities across North and East Yorkshire.”
