About Two Ridings Community Foundation
Two Ridings Community Foundation is the accredited community foundation for North and East Yorkshire, York and Hull — a charity dedicated to helping people and businesses give with purpose. For more than two decades, we’ve connected generosity with local need, distributing over £24 million to hundreds of grassroots groups that make life better for thousands of people every year.
We focus on what matters most to local people: tackling poverty, improving health and wellbeing, building stronger and more connected communities, championing equity and belonging, and supporting climate action for a fairer future. By enabling donors to set up funds and support the issues they care about — from children’s wellbeing to rural suicide prevention, from social isolation to financial hardship — we ensure that giving has real, lasting impact.
Our people and knowledge are what makes us strong. We are governed by a board of trustees who work hand in hand with a core team of passionate staff.
