With more than 20 years’ experience in the voluntary sector, Anna knows Hull well, having worked with organisations including KIDS, the Hull 2017 Volunteer Programme, Keep Britain Tidy and Hull Food Partnership. She is passionate about ensuring everyone in the city has the opportunity to be included and believes communities are strongest when local people are empowered to lead.
Born and brought up in East Hull, Anna is an active volunteer with several community organisations. Away from work, you’ll find her at the community allotment, spinning and weaving, or supporting projects that celebrate Hull.
