Clean Air Solar Farm Community Benefit Fund

Application to this fund are now on a new Grant Application Portal

Established by Clean Air Renewables Ltd, your voluntary organisation or community group can apply for projects that support educational, community, environmental, energy efficiency or general community amenity projects in the area of benefit.

Fund priorities  

The fund will provide grants to support charitable activities that:

  • Enhance health, wellbeing and quality of life for local residents
  • Contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful and sustainable communities
  • Increase the environmental sustainability of local wildlife, community assets and facilities
  • Address needs and gaps identified by local people
  • Promote community spirit and encourage community involvement.

 

**How to apply Drop-ins with the Two Ridings Team**

At Two Ridings Community Foundation, we have recently moved to a new grant application system. We are therefore organising online drop-ins to familiarise people with our new system and offer guidance on applying through our new portal. They are taking place on Thursday 11th June between 12.30pm and 1.30pm and on Tuesday 16th June between 6pm and 7pm. They are both being hosted as an online Teams meeting and the links are below.

Size of grants

You can apply for up to £1,500. We have a total of £10,000 to distribute for this round.


Who can apply?

Please read our ‘How to Apply’ page for information on general eligibility.

The fund is available to voluntary and community groups and small charitable organisations based in and/or serving the communities of

  • Beverley
  • Cottingham
  • Hutton Cranswick
  • and those within 2km of the proposed sites of the Clean Air Solar farm.

How to apply?

Before applying, please read the  Guidance notes for Clean Air Solar Farm Community Benefit Fund carefully.

Then complete the online application on our new portal.

Finally, your application is complete only when we have received all your supporting documentation. You can attach them to the online application. Or, email them to [email protected]

When to apply?

We will be open for applications on the 8th of June 2026. Then, the deadline is noon on the 3rd August 2026. After that, you will hear from us with a decision by the 30th of September 2026.
