We are very excited to invite you along to a special Barn Dance, Buffet & Musical Extravaganza Fundraiser on Friday 6th February at the De Grey Rooms, St Leonards Place, York, YO1 7HE from 7pm – 11pm.

Hailing from all corners of the globe, Big Deal is a foot stomping, cat-calling, thigh-slapping, yip-yipping, hoe-down band.  It’s the band’s 40th Anniversary which ties in very nicely with our 25th Anniversary. Prior members of the band are are amassing from all over the country, as well as from America and in one case New Zealand, for the occasion.

There will be a fun Barn Dance, where Caller Jo will take you through the dance steps, guaranteeing to have you dancing from start to stop — or until you drop.

A delicious buffet crafted by the team from local independents Partisan and Brancusi is all part of the ticket price, with a bar and exciting raffle ready for you on the evening. And in between there will be tunes and songs from a whole array of talented musicians.

It promises to be a wild night of great Gaelic, American, Cajun dances, and tunes. And there might event be special Two Ridings song…
