Donate to the High Sheriff of North Yorkshire’s Fund
Each year the High Sheriff takes an active part in supporting and promoting the voluntary sector and giving all possible encouragement to voluntary organisations within North Yorkshire. The High Sheriff of North Yorkshire Fund supports community groups in and around the county, under the request of the current High Sheriff. Two Ridings Community Foundation manages and administers the fund directly for them.
Nigel Corner is the current High Sheriff of North Yorkshire. His theme for the year is New Horizons and his focus is on community organisations who are supporting people to rebuild their lives.
He is championing groups who advocate literacy, confidence-building, practical skills, and meaningful employment opportunities and believe these to be the foundations that help people overcome barriers and move towards a stable, fulfilling future. He wants to highlight the work that breaks cycles, support people’s mental health and shines a light on people’s potential.

To donate larger sums, you may want to send a cheque or pay directly into the fund without administrative fees. Please call Celia on 07519 485103 or email her directly on [email protected] to arrange your giving.
If you wish to donate via cheque to please make cheques payable to Two Ridings Community Foundation and write on the back ‘High Sheriff North Yorkshire.’
